OZONE

The Camp Ozark Foundation facilitates Ozone Ministries– a non-denominational (Values-Based) discipleship program that aides families in developing and nurturing their children. Ozone provides a year-round follow-up ministry to campers and their friends through special events, weekly meetings, small group devotionals and service projects. Each Ozone is staffed by wholesome, energetic and authentic young Christian leaders whose sole purposes are to assist kids in deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ and help kids become leaders in their schools and communities. Currently, Ozone operates in Houston, Dallas, Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

Ozark for All

The Camp Ozark Foundation sponsors Ozark for All – an incomparable (Values-Based) summer camp experience for economically and socially underserved children. The Camp Ozark Foundation seeks to partner with urban schools, non-profits and families in helping to nurture and develop their children. We believe that there is no replacement for the values and self-worth that are instilled in children through a loving, nurturing, and mentoring relationship for underserved children who would not have the opportunity to attend camp otherwise.

FIT Scholarship Fund

The FIT Scholarship Fund is primarily supported by The Camp Ozark Foundation and Sam & Susan Torn, owners and directors of Camp Ozark. Sam & Susan believe that God has blessed them with a unique ministry that allows kids to know Jesus Christ and live a life of faith through action rather than words. The FIT Scholarship Fund provides a variety of children, not normally able to come to camp, with the Ozark experience. A large percentage of the FIT scholarship fund is directed toward children from rural Arkansas including Montgomery, Garland, Pike, Polk, Clark and surrounding counties.

Camp Ozark Missions

Ozark Missions is primarily supported by the Camp Ozark Foundation and Sam & Susan Torn. Several years ago, Sam and Susan formed a relationship with Gloria Al Padre (GAP Ministries) and Dr. Hugo Irogoyen, a Hispanic physician whose life is dedicated to improving the living conditions of impoverished residents of Mexico carrying the love of God. The Camp Ozark Foundation and Sam and Susan Torn are major funders of GAP. The Camp Ozark Staff sponsors working mission trips to rural Mexico on a regular basis that provide much needed medical, dental, construction and children’s service projects.
